"When words fail, music speaks"
About Me
My name is Kathy Mazzeo. I have been a piano teacher for 31 years, and have been teaching in Rolla since 1999. I am also currently the Director of Music at Baptist Church of Rolla and work frequently with Rolla Choral Arts Society as a Director of the Vocal Jazz Ensembles and as the Accompanist for Men of Song and the Community Choir.

I started taking piano lessons in kindergarten and continued on and off until I graduated college. I love teaching because it has given me a way to pursue my passion for music and music education while also giving me the freedom to spend plenty of time with my family, including my cats.
My goal is to instill a lifelong love of music in my students. I try to individualize every single lesson to the child I’m working with based on their needs and personality, and use group lessons as an opportunity to create community among my students and encourage them to support each other in their musical journeys.
